Welcome to the results of simplyprose (https://www.deviantart.com/simplyprose)'s second set of monthly prompts. Once again, we have had a very pleasing response; our prompts have inspired thirteen truly moving, intriguing or just plain funny pieces of prose.
The prompts, and all the responses, are listed below, this time with some comments and excerpts to help you discriminate if you haven't got time to read them all just yet. You are, as ever, highly encouraged to read and comment on these pieces. These authors deserve cangratulations on their imaginative work this month.

A kitchen. MAN and WOMAN stand centre stage, in front of a counter with drawers. They are arguing as lights fade on.
WOMAN. Look. It's not that hard. I kill myself, and then you kill yourself.
MAN. I don't like the second part.
WOMAN. It's called a double suicide pact for a reason.
MAN. Do I have to kill myself?
WOMAN. What the hell kind of question is that? Of course you do.
MAN. I'm just not feeling it right now, is all.
WOMAN. Oh, I'm sorry if I'm not setting the mood for you, crybaby.
MAN. That was uncalled for.
WOMAN. Well, when you stop being a crybaby I'll stop calling you a crybaby.
MAN. I'm not a crybaby.
